We spent two days in Kuala Lempur, Malaysia. I think Malaysia is underrated as in it's not talked about enough. I would have liked to explore another part of Malaysia if I had more time like Kota Kinabalu, which is the beachy island part of the country. Incase you didn't know, the KUL International airport is located an hour away from Kuala Lemur city, so keep that in mind. We used grab to get around everywhere which was pretty cheap. We stayed at the Shangri-la Kuala Lumpur in the family suite.
I think two days is plenty of time to spend in Malaysia. We went over a holiday weekend with the plan to stop over in Singapore for a day as well which I will do a separate post for. We did the Batu Caves and the Thean Hou temple.
THEAN HOU TEMPLE
I loved the vibrant colors of this temple. We went the day we arrived, late afternoon around 4 and it was practically empty.
After the temple we spent some time at the mall which is located beside the petronas twin towers. The towers also have a light show in the evening so we were able to do that as well.

We woke up the next morning and headed to the Batu Caves. This was pretty crowded as we imagined it would be. There are also a million stairs to climb to the top of the cave to go inside. Be careful with the monkeys that surround the caves and stairs. They are everywhere and they aren't nice. They will steal items from your bags and hands like the cookies this one is holding that were swiped from Natalia, lol.

After the Batu Caves we found this cool hole in the wall (literally) coffee shop that was really good.
