KOREAN SKINCARE + BEAUTY FAVORITES

Living in Korea for a year I found a bunch of skincare products that I use and love. I'm not someone that has a "10 step skincare routine". I'm a go with the flow type of person and grabbed a bunch of top rated products and found what I liked from Olive Young, Tony Moly, and Innisfree. I also received a ton of samples and gift sets free with purchase which allowed me to discover even more products that I loved. I alternate the use of these products.

If you can grab these products IN Korea, I promise you the quality is a lot better. The US versions are good but not the full quality, if that makes sense. I had friends that would ask me to send them products because the US quality of these products were not the same. Again, still good! But if you have an upcoming trip to Korea planned, plan on bringing an empty suitcase for skincare products :)

Banila Clean it ZERO (My holy grail product!) - It's a makeup remover. Resembles coconut oil texture. I rub this over my face and add a little bit of water and all of my makeup comes off. I have repurchased this product several times as well as mini travel size versions that I keep in my carry on bags when we travel, especially for red eye flights.

Also, if you find something you really like, you can probably find it at the local Korean Costco in bulk for a cheaper price. I did this when we first got to Korea and I also did a restock on all of my favorite products before leaving Korea.

BEAUTY FAVORITES

Tir Tir cushion foundation - finally found this in Seoul a week before we left Korea. I found it in the Starfield Co Ex mall in the Chicor beauty store. I got shade “sand” because it was the closest shade to my complexion in store. It was okay with my skin tone but i also ordered another one in shade “camel”.

This mascara and eyeliner. Although these are in K beauty stores, they are actually Japanese beauty products. If you need waterproof coverage, this is what you want to use. I used this throughout our trips to Bali and the Philippines and not one smudge, even in the water!
